Katy Reviews The Graduates Movie

The genre with this movie was VERY clear right away. A coming-of-age-teen-comedy. I hate teen comedies! But this is also an indie film and I love discovering a fantastic indie film so I gave it a shot. I’m glad I did. ซีรี่ย์เกาหลี was really surprised by the intelligence on this movie.

There was definitely humping, and drinking, and swearing, and boobies but after every punch line there were a moment of sincerity that sort of caught me unexpectedly. I felt enjoy it began with one dimensional characters (the conventional American Pie crew) but evolved into real youngsters with real conflicts.

Also, the cast was solid. I was really impressed with these unknowns. Especially with the older brother character, Josh. He literally perfect creepy/cocky older brother. And the supporting role, Stuart… he’s ridiculously original. I’m sure I’ll see him in something again. And the ‘good girl’ that starts smoking to become cool was hysterical.

But, again, not your standard teen comedy. No one would have been a one note character. Everyone stood a journey. I do not want to spoil anything so I’ll just claim that some were funny, some were sweet then one or two were pretty deep and they also were all sincere.

I saw a sneak preview and I needed to write something because I honestly think it may turned into a cult classic if people ever found out about it. It’s got the truly amazing one liners, memorable moments above all personality plus an original viewpoint.
